Getting Started.

1. Log on

Double click on the SpeakLike icon, enter your user name and password into the login screen and click the Login button.

2. Find and Add Contacts

Click the "Add Contact" button.

Enter the name of the person you want to add and click OK.

The user will immediately be added to your contact list and will automatically be sent the request to see details/status pictured below.

Once the user clicks "Yes" the user's online status and language will be visible to you.

	A yellow icon next to a user's name indicates they are online.
	A gray icon indicates they are offline.
	A green icon indicates that a translator is available.

3. Using translation chat with friends

To begin a conversation, simply double click on the name of the contact that you would like to chat with. Enter your text into the field provided and click . When you see the + sign next to the message, this means your text has been translated and sent to the users.

To invite a third or forth user to the conversation, click the "Invite to Conversation" button at the top of the window.

Select the contacts you wish to invite to the conversation and click OK.

4. Seeing translations

Clicking on the + sign next to the text will allow you to see the translation.
